Thanksgiving Weekend I Facetimed with a young woman named Clare Byrne who founded a nonprofit in Uganda for children with disabilities called Imprint Hope. I had been following her on social media and was super impressed and interested in her story. After mine and Clare’s conversation, I had a strong desire to meet her in person, to meet the children and families she worked with, to help her though my music, and to see one more beautiful country. So, in my regular last minute, gyspy fashion I bought a ticket to Uganda! My dear friend Gigi will be meeting me there, and I will have the opportunity to spend 9 days working with Clare.
