John and I celebrated our first anniversary last weekend. Both of us travel for work, so we decided to explore our city of Memphis. I channeled my inner Wednesday Adams for the occasion with this black top.

The first night we enjoyed an Italian dinner and a beautiful boutique hotel.

John knows how much I love fairs, and so we finished off the adventure with the Mid-South Fair. I could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend to celebrate John and me. This year has been full of news joys and plenty of growing pains, and I can feel my heart stretching for this new vocation. The sun set perfectly, and the lights from the fair gave the world a hint of magic.
