How to use a broken heart
Dear World,
I’ve realized our hearts are fragile things. Sometimes they break, sometimes they downright shatter. Tears stream down our tired faces, our arms folded, our bodies swaying back and forth, back and forth, back and forth in pain.
In these moments cracking a smile can seem as difficult as lifting your own bodyweight, and perhaps that is when something as simple as a smile carries the most weight.
A smile, a word, a look of encouragement, a small act of kindness are tiny pieces of your broken heart ready to be given away to a world who is in desperate need of your heart, broken as it is.
Some people care too much. I think it’s called love.
